The countdown has begun, there are 3 weeks left!
Only 6 weeks left! All businesses are still working at full speed.
The days are getting colder and the construction site is still very busy.
The lift shafts are practically finished and we have now started building the apartments.
Where a few weeks ago there were still yellow wall supports and one-story scaffolding everywhere, concrete walls have now been erected.
The last few weeks have been all about construction on the roof between Metropol and Engadinerhof.
At the moment, a large part of the construction site is concentrated on the basement.
Installation of the new lifts began this week.
Drilling, digging and pouring is taking place everywhere on the construction site.
The Tubbo in the garden of the Hotel Reine Victoria is now open daily! And a lot has also happened at the Laudinella construction site, especially in the area of the garages and the cellar entrance.
This week we started building our pop-up restaurant "Tubbo" in the garden of the Hotel Reine Victoria.
Last week, demolition of the spa began and it has now been completely gutted.
Things are moving forward at full speed! Last week, the inventory to be kept was brought to the concert hall, which will serve as storage this summer.
On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the starting signal was given for the second part of the major Laudinella renovation. The hotel and its restaurants will close their doors until mid-December. During this time, we will renovate the entire restaurant area on the ground floor and basement.
We're entering the home stretch! There's still a week until the reopening and the final details are being worked on everywhere.
The demolition of the east wing is now definitely over, the entrances are closed and are waiting to be reopened next spring for the next phase of construction.
The rooms in the east wing have now been demolished.

Now we are definitely in the final sprint, next week we will reopen the hotel!
Finally, the carpet is in! The orange, yellow and green pattern contrasts nicely with the new blue and light gray walls.

These weeks are all about painters. The radiators are given a new coat of paint and the new restaurant is already shining in a wonderful green.
In mid-April there were still large holes in the ground in various places. These were filled again in the last few weeks and OSB panels were laid as the penultimate layer.
We continue to make big strides forward, currently in the areas of floors, windows and kitchens.
During the Easter week we continued to work diligently. All floors are now bare, the carpets in the lobby & bar as well as the parquet in the bridge room and restaurant have been removed.
On Monday, April 3, 2023, the starting signal was given for the renovation of the ground floor in the Hotel Reine Victoria. The entrance area with the lobby, the large lounge & bar and the theater hall will receive a facelift.
