Ski & snowboard
With over 350 kilometers of slopes and a total of 88 slopes, the Engadin is a true dream for ski and snowboard enthusiasts.
At over 1,800 m above sea level, snow-covered pistes are guaranteed and your skiing holiday safe. From flat children's slopes, relaxed family slopes to impressive World Cup slopes and soft powder runs to picturesque ski tours, the Engadin has the right offer for everyone. Pleasant relaxation and cozy warmth await you after a hard day on the slopes in one of the numerous mountain restaurants.
The Corviglia/Piz Nair ski area on St. Moritz's local mountain can be reached quickly via the Signalbahn cable car, which is just a stone's throw from the Laudinella's doors.

Other ski areas, such as Corvatsch and Diavolezza / Lagalb, are also easily accessible thanks to the good connection from the Engadinbus. Regardless of which of the numerous slopes you choose, the breathtaking view of the Engadine mountain landscape will amaze you. Freeski and snowboarders will find the ultimate kick in the Corviglia Snowpark “Crowland” or in the Corvatsch Park on the mountain of the same name.
Our tip: Getting up early is worth it! In the morning before the crowd on the mountain and at sunrise, making the first tracks in the freshly groomed carpet of slopes is probably the greatest happiness of every winter sports fan.

Cross-country skiing
Whether classic or skating - the Engadine is a cross-country paradise that is second to none.
230 kilometers of first-class cross-country ski trails branch through the entire high valley: across frozen lakes and snow-covered meadows, through wintry forests and quiet side valleys - and right past our front door.
Right in front of the hotel on your skis and off you slide - right through the middle of what is probably the most impressive cross-country skiing scene that one could only wish for. From Maloja to the Bernina Pass, where tireless people can leave their mark on the glacier trail until spring.

And if the winter days are too short for you, you can extend your training on the night trail in St. Moritz Bad until late in the evening in the light of the headlights.
Unique landscape diversity, excellent quality of cross-country trails, unsurpassed snow reliability. No wonder thousands of participants come here every year for the largest cross-country skiing event in Switzerland, the world-famous Engadin Skimarathon.
Several cross-country schools offer lessons for beginners and advanced skiers. The right equipment can be rented at various locations.
