Laudinella AG strengthens its management structure for the next growth phase

St. Moritz, June 9, 2026 – Laudinella AG is expanding its management team with three experienced professionals. Two long-serving hotel directors and a proven HR specialist will combine their expertise within the hotel group. These new roles will strengthen the areas of finance, people & culture, and service and quality management, contributing to the further professionalization of the group's corporate structure. 

Martin Scherer assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on June 1, 2026, Yvonne Urban is responsible for the newly created role of Group Operations Excellence, and Esther Binkert will join the management team on August 1, 2026. The Laudinella Group is thus strategically expanding its leadership and expertise in key business areas.  

Experience in the hotel industry and business management

Martin Scherer and Yvonne Urban have been shaping the Engadine hotel industry for many years. For 14 years, they managed the Hotel Schweizerhof St. Moritz, followed by six years at the Hotel Saratz in Pontresina. Most recently, they both held different management positions at the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz. As a member of the school's management team, Martin Scherer was responsible for finance and services. Yvonne Urban brings many years of management experience in the hotel industry with proven expertise in brand management, communication, guest experience, and quality management. 

People & Culture, Quality and Growth 

Esther Binkert brings many years of management experience in human resources, hospitality, and education to the Laudinella Group. Previously, she headed human resources departments at the Hotel Saratz and the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz.  

Together, the three executives combine experience in the hotel industry, business management, and human resources, thereby strengthening collaboration across all of the group's businesses. They shape service quality and guest experience along the entire guest journey.
