Event details

For more than two decades, Lise de la Salle has established herself as one of the leading French pianists of her generation, performing with many of the world's most prestigious orchestras and conductors. Her international career and award-winning discography have garnered her widespread acclaim. After one of her performances, the Washington Post wrote: "For much of the concert, the audience had to remember to breathe… the enthusiasm didn't wane for a second until her hands left the keys."«

Highlights of the 2026/27 season include performances at the Teatro Colón with the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra and at the Vienna Konzerthaus. She will also give solo recitals in Stockholm and Aarhus, return to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Aspen Music Festival under Fabio Luisi, and continue her collaboration with French conductor Samy Rachid.

Lise de la Salle has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras and has worked with conductors such as Herbert Blomstedt, Semyon Bychkov, James Gaffigan, Fabio Luisi, Gianandrea Noseda, Nathalie Stutzmann and Krzysztof Urbański.

Her performances at solo concerts and festivals have taken her to some of the most prestigious stages in the world, including the Vienna Musikverein, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Tonhalle Zürich, the Royal Festival Hall in London and the Hollywood Bowl.

Her numerous recordings include albums dedicated to Chopin and Liszt – the latter of which was awarded a «Diapason d'Or» – while more recent projects demonstrate the breadth of her musical curiosity: «When Do We Dance?» or «Phantasmagoria».

In addition to her concert career, she is heavily involved in musical education and regularly gives masterclasses in the cities where she performs.

Lise de la Salle began playing the piano at the age of four and gave her first concert at nine, which was broadcast live on Radio France. She studied at the Paris Conservatoire, worked with Pascal Nemirovski, and was mentored by Geneviève Joy-Dutilleux. In 2004, she won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York, launching her international career.
