The Swiss pianist Beatrice Berrut grew up in the Valais mountains and is now at home on the world's major concert stages. «The mountains naturally influence my piano playing; they bring me a certain spirituality. Their programs are finely designed and sophisticated and often include their own transcriptions. In the “Abracadabra” program, the magic of fairy tales mixes with the magic of dreams. It begins with the large ballet repertoire and ends with the well-known pieces from Walt Disney's timeless classic “Merlin the Magician”.
