Critics have described him as "a real virtuoso, a fiery spirit with depth". His imagination, his elegance, his expressive poetry and his clear articulation make Louis Schwizgebel an exception among the younger pianists. "Music has to touch, not impress," is his credo. Born in Geneva in 1987 into a Swiss-Chinese family of artists, he made his breakthrough at the international competition in Leeds in 2012. Since then, invitations have followed from some of the most important orchestras, concert halls and festivals. A series of CD recordings also testify to his exceptional talent, with which he will enchant the audience on his debut in the Engadin.
