Event details
It is well known that Graubünden has a particularly lively and traditional music culture. When three people from Graubünden meet, they form a four-part choir, goes a nice bon mot. But how did it come about that this proverbial joy in singing and making music from Graubünden was only able to arouse the interest of an important German musicologist around 90 years ago? And what is the attitude of Graubünden musicology towards its research object today?
The musicologist Dr. Laura Decurtins. With reference to her current research project "Women in the music culture of Graubünden", she also talks about the challenges of working with sources, which sometimes requires a lot of creativity and imagination.
