Vivi de Farias' jazz concerts at Christmas time have almost become a tradition. This year, too, she will be playing an aperitif concert every day in Vic's Bar. The exceptional musician will be accompanied by a top-class band with whom she has already toured the world.

Visitors can expect a daily changing program with fiery samba, rhythms full of improvisation and sensual sophistication. Of course, the "ambassador of Bossa Nova", as Vivi De Farias is also called, also brings her own compositions.

The musician grew up in Brazil and the USA. She developed her talents in Rio de Janeiro and Chicago with acting and singing lessons and later came to the Karlsruhe University of Music as a scholarship holder. Now settled in Germany, she combines elements from jazz, classical and samba. Vivi de Farias performs in interdisciplinary art projects and enjoys crossing musical boundaries from baroque to opera and experimental. However, jazz is her greatest passion.
