Jon Domenic Parolini has been a member of the government of the canton of Graubünden since 2015. In 2019 and 2024 he presided over the Graubünden government. Parolini was born in Samedan and grew up in Scuol. He is a forestry engineer, has been involved with the language and culture organization Lia Rumantscha and has worked as a journalist. His political career began in 1996 with offices in the municipality of Scuol. From 2000 he was mayor of Scuol and a member of the cantonal council for 14 years before being elected to the government of the canton of Graubünden. In his free time he enjoys being out in the mountains. And: like many Engadines, he is a hunter.

The conversation will be moderated by David Spinnler, Managing Director of the Biosfera Val Müstair Nature Park and long-time journalist at RTR.

The event takes place in cooperation with the ikg Institute for Cultural Research Graubünden.
