Cello and vocals: for heavenly musical delights. As the name suggests, most of the ensemble's pieces are
French origin. The combination of harp and flute was particularly popular among 19th-century French composers. Works by renowned names such as Debussy, Fauré, and Saint-Saëns are featured, and Saint-Saëns' "Swan" with its captivating cello solo is a must. Famous melodies from operettas, chansons, and canzoni complement the program. Sometimes the harp mutates into a zither, accompanying the singer in Alpine melodies—a touch of heaven...
And: the celesta, this heavenly sounding instrument, adds a few additional colors.
