"Céleste" means heavenly - and that is exactly what this formation stands for with its special line-up of harp, flute, cello and vocals: heavenly musical delights. Like the name, most of the ensemble's pieces are of French origin. The combination of harp and flute was particularly popular with French composers of the 19th century. Pieces by famous names such as Ravel, Debussy and Fauré can be heard - but Saint-Saëns' "Swan" with its enchanting cello solo is also a must. There are also famous melodies from operettas, and sometimes the harp mutates into a zither and accompanies the singer in Alpine tunes - very close to heaven...
