"The most important thing is the music you have in your head," said Madame Flo, the unflappable, confident and fabulously talentless soprano. Unfortunately, she sang pitifully out of tune, but the audience loved her anyway and came in droves to enjoy her. Stephen Temperley's play SOUVENIR about Jenkins' career is a wonderfully heartwarming tribute to this legend of American show business.
