Course leader: Annette Postel
Sing your favorite pieces that you have always wanted to perform. The course covers a wide range from classical music (aria, song) to chansons or hits from the 1920s and jazz ballads. With songs and arias by Mozart, Brahms, Strauss or chansons, songs and cheeky couplets from hits from the 1920s and emotional jazz ballads, we will search for your personal interpretation together with you and work on making the song and performance convincing. Last but not least, we would like to make you want to slip into a new role while singing.
In individual and group lessons, ways are shown to develop the personal sound of the voice and to exploit one's own vocal potential more deeply by removing blockages when singing. Annette Postel teaches functional voice training according to Gisela Rohmert (Lichtenberger Institute), which focuses on freedom from vibration, natural voice, body relaxation and voice hygiene.
The course also includes acting and physical exercises to help reduce stage fright. And the experienced piano accompanist Sebastian Matz is on hand on all course days.
