Mikhail Shishkin, one of the most important Russian writers of our time, whose books have been translated into 35 languages, has been one of the harshest critics of Putin's regime for years. Shishkin's essays have been published in major newspapers in the German-speaking world as well as in the most important international media such as the New York Times, WSJ, The Guardian, Le Mond and many others. Alexey Botvinov is one of the most renowned Ukrainian pianists and artistic director of the Odessa Classics music festival. He has performed in 47 countries and played Bach's Goldberg Variations live more than 300 times - like no other pianist of our time.

In Zurich he worked with Heinz Spoerli as a permanent guest with the Zurich Ballet. Botvinov is a "People's Artist of Ukraine", the highest award for artists in Ukraine. With star violinist Daniel Hope, Botvinov made three sensationally successful recordings with "Deutsche Grammophon" from 2021 to 2022 with works by Alfred Schnittke, Valentin Silvestrov and the "Music for Ukraine" project.
