The pianists, active in Korea and Europe, operate from Salzburg. Jae-Yeon Won and Su Yeon Kim. They trace a musical journey that stretches from Seoul's Hangang – the river that flows through the heart of the city – to the Bohemian landscapes of Smetana's Vltava (Moldau). Alternating between solo piano and four-hand playing, they unite the intimacy of Bach and Kurtág, the warmth of Dohnányi, the spiritual depth of Schubert, and the poetry of Chopin. After their first performance as a duo in St. Moritz in 2024, they now return with a program that celebrates their individual voices and their shared musical dialogue.

Program:

JS Bach / G. Kurtág
God's time is the very best time, BWV 106

E. von Dohnányi
Waltz for piano four hands, Op. 3

F. Schubert
Fantasy in F minor for piano four hands, D 940 (Op. 103)

F. Chopin
Preludes, Op. 28 (selection)

F. Chopin
Ballad No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52

B. Smetana
