The Festival da Jazz, together with the municipality of St. Moritz, invites you to a very special concert experience. Your tax money is used in the most beautiful way.

With the Swiss Armed Forces Big Band, the Swiss Army has a high-class orchestra that feels at home not only in jazz & swing, but also in pop & rock. 18 young and committed musicians do their military service in the big band and thus have a good platform to present their extraordinary skills to a large audience. The band celebrates great success and achieves high recognition in their performances at home and abroad. Since January 2015, the musical direction of the orchestra has been in the hands of conductor Edgar Schmid.
