Canadian Kevin Chen, just 17 years old, caused a sensation as the youngest participant at the Concours de Genève in 2022 when he was awarded not only first prize, but also six special prizes. At the age of eight, he was voted one of the 30 most exciting musicians under 30 by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Music. At that time he had just made his orchestral debut and composed his first own works. At the end of March 2023 he won the legendary Arthur Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv.
