The time has finally come: The world's most phenomenal male vocal ensemble is performing in the Engadine! Founded in 1968 by students of King's College, Cambridge, it has been in a class of its own for 55 years. The King's Singers are renowned worldwide not only for their unique musical mastery and interpretive skills, but also for their stunning British charm, their connection with the audience, and their incredibly broad repertoire, which includes everything from Bach to the Beatles. In the Engadine, they celebrate "Tom & Will," the two great English Renaissance composers William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes. To mark their 400th birthday, they present the King's Singers as bold personalities with wit, humor, and a rebellious spirit. With well-known gems from the two composers and previously unreleased works rarely heard live, the King's Singers reveal something of the humanity of these two giants of Elizabethan music and politics. A program full of beauty, drama and exciting stories!
