Isabel Richiusa's compositions are inspired by her innermost core and from the harbor of jazz, crossing the boundaries. The music is brought into an authentic sound image, always with the willingness to show itself vulnerable and fragile. The compositions carry emotional depth and clarity. Serenity and intensity, emotion and intellect, poetic sense and sensuality are united in a contemporary game. The compositions deal with everyday 'being'. Every word and every note is given its own meaning. A floating, intimate and expressive music that draws its power from the rhythms and transforms into virtuoso forms. On my way here, I was musically influenced especially by the extensive tradition of jazz, areas from classical music, folklore and improvisation.
