Janine Jansen has had to cancel her performance at the Engadin Festival due to health reasons. We would have loved to welcome her to the Engadin this summer and wish her a speedy and full recovery. We are in contact with her and are looking for a date for next year.

We were fortunate to secure Arabella Steinbacher at short notice for the concert in St. Moritz on August 2nd. She is an internationally acclaimed artist and one of the most influential violinists of her generation. Her exceptionally broad repertoire and the combination of virtuosity with depth and warmth are her hallmarks. Arabella Steinbacher is already well-known in the Engadine region: in 2024, she gave a brilliant performance at the opening concert in Pontresina. Now, together with the renowned pianist Peter von Wienhardt, she will present a vibrant program featuring works by George Gershwin, Manuel de Falla, Sergei Prokofiev, Richard Strauss, and others.

We are convinced that this concert will be an unforgettable highlight of the festival.
