The film classic Heidi The 1952 film is experiencing a very special rediscovery. Shot in black and white, this feature film based on Johanna Spyri's world-famous story is still considered the most poetic and impressive adaptation of the tale of the orphan girl Heidi. She lives with her embittered grandfather, the Alpöhi, in the mountains of Graubünden and loves spending her days with Peter the goatherd. One day, she is torn from this familiar world and arrives in Frankfurt, where she meets Klara, who has a walking disability.

The Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic performs Robert Blum's film score live to the film. This live music production, specially arranged by Swiss musician Raban Brunner, will celebrate its world premiere in 2027 – the 200th anniversary of Johanna Spyri's birth. Film and music merge into a unique and particularly nostalgic concert experience, bringing a significant piece of Swiss cinema history to life.
