From the Laudinella Group's experience: nova launches as an agency for the hotel, restaurant & culture industry

Hamburg/St. Moritz, May 19, 2026 – Launched as the marketing department and digital hub of the Laudinella Group, the newly created unit has, over the past two years, developed and expanded its own brands, repositioned hotels, and created comprehensive campaigns – for four hotels, several restaurants, and a cultural venue in St. Moritz. What began as an internal department has evolved into a broadly positioned agency team: with its own processes, a clear style, and expertise in how the hotel and restaurant industry truly operates. This industry know-how is now also available to external clients: the agency nova launched in May. 

Anyone wanting to support hotels and restaurants with their marketing needs to understand how they operate from the inside. nova, the new Hamburg-based agency for brand development, design, and communication, brings precisely that expertise: It grew out of the operational division of the Laudinella Group, a renowned hotel company in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The nova team is now sharing its experience and strategies: Among its first external partners are the Hotel Wedina in Hamburg and the Hotel du Nord in Interlaken. 

Grown from practice – not from theory 

The 7-member team, which exchanges information daily with all departments of a large hotel operation, knows the particular challenges of the industry firsthand: seasonal fluctuations, operational challenges, finding the balance between guest expectations and employee requirements, and the collaboration between marketing and the hotel as an operation, which often has to develop an understanding of the issues and the workflow behind them, especially at the beginning.

To start, nova is working with two selected hotels, each with its own unique character and high standards for guest communication: 

Hotel Wedina, Hamburg: Hamburg's only literary hotel, located right by the Outer Alster Lake, stands for individual design, peace and quiet in the heart of the city, literary flair, and a loyal clientele. An ideal starting point for strong brand and content marketing. 

Hotel du Nord, Interlaken: The hotel, located in one of Switzerland's most visited tourist regions, combines alpine tradition with a modern ambiance and seeks a communication style that appeals to international audiences as well as local guests. 

nova is aimed at hotels and restaurants that want to strategically develop their communication and sharpen their positioning. This includes highlighting the unique stories of an establishment and giving them a form that sharpens its profile and sustainably strengthens its market presence.
