The newly formed ensemble “Tras il mund” is, as the name suggests, traveling musically all over the world.
The ensemble's spiritual home is in the Engadine, and they have a special love for the music of quadrilingual Switzerland – as their Romansh name suggests. The musicians, who hail from Graubünden, Appenzell, Zurich, and South America, demonstrate how closely related folk music from such diverse parts of the world can be, provided it is deeply rooted in the earth. Thus, you'll hear Zäuerli and dances from the Alpine region, as well as fiery Latin American rhythms.

Clarinet and vocals will alternate and interweave melodiously, accompanied by harp, guitar, and percussion. The ensemble will keep its footing thanks to the virtuoso playing of the bassist, who will also contribute a few new folk compositions.
