After twenty years of marriage, Bernard and Claudine are out of breath. Therefore, both of them got involved in a flirt: Claudine with the boxer Robert, Bernard with Catherine, who is willing to marry. In order to spend an undisturbed weekend with his love, Bernard claims that he urgently needs to go on a business trip. Claudine pretends to visit her mother. And the maid Anna is also sent to visit the family. But the apartment doesn't stay empty for long: Anna would rather save the travel money and returns. Shortly thereafter, Claudine and Robert show up - and finally Bernard and Catherine also show up. Anna has her hands full maneuvering the two couples, who don't know anything about each other, past each other.
