Christmas and a concert by the Saitkoulov-Oppert family of musicians are a tradition at the Laudinella Concert Hall. This year, the concert hall appears in a new splendor and with a new name: the "Brigitte & Henri B. Meier Concert Hall." Roustem Saitkoulov won second prize at the Géza Anda Competition in 1997. Since then, he and his family have been artists in residence at the Laudinella. Cellist Claire Oppert is a prizewinner of numerous international music competitions and performs as a soloist with renowned orchestras. She and Roustem Saitkoulov have performed as a duo on tours in Europe, China, South Africa, and Australia, captivating audiences with their musical dialogue. Both have produced several CDs with recordings of Schumann, Strauss, Shostakovich, and Chopin.

The 23-year-old daughter Clara is most clearly following in her parents' footsteps. In 2014, she was the youngest to pass the admission competition for the Paris Conservatory. Only six participants are invited to this competition each year,
