To mark the 130th anniversary of Friedrich Hollaender's birth and the 50th anniversary of his death, Annette Postel invites you on a musical journey through time. Together with Sebastian Matz on piano, she interprets chansons and cabaret couplets from the 1920s to the 1950s – cheeky, political, and full of emotion.

Between Berlin cabaret of the Weimar Republic – with classics for Marlene Dietrich – and Hollywood exile with film music for directors like Ernst Lubitsch and Billy Wilder, the evening traces Hollaender's eventful life.

A concert full of wit, longing and melancholy – and a tribute to one of the most important German-Jewish artists of the 20th century.
