Piano music for two, four, six and even eight hands: Four exceptional young pianists perform a concert featuring rarely heard masterpieces.

Wataru Hisasue He comes from Kyoto. He studied at the Freiburg University of Music and the Conservatoire national in Paris. In 2025, he completed his concert exam at the Berlin University of the Arts. He has received numerous awards, including third prize and the special prize for the best interpretation of the commissioned work at the 66th ARD Music Competition. He performs in Europe and Japan.

The 26-year-old Briton also Julian Trevelyan Julian performs regularly in Europe and England. At 16, he became the youngest prize winner at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin International Competition and subsequently won further prizes, including the Géza Anda Prize (2nd place 2021) and the Kissinger Piano Olympics. Mentored by Patrick Masure, Julian studied piano and composition at the École Normale Alfred Cortot in Paris. He is composer-in-residence with Ensemble Dynamique Paris. He also studied musicology at Oxford University and holds a diploma in geology.

Laura Mota Pello She comes from Spain and is currently studying in Basel with Claudio Martínez Mehner. In 2024, she received first prize at the Rahn Cultural Fund Music Prize, which included a concert with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra at the KKL Lucerne; at the 2024 Gzéa Anda Competition, she was awarded the Hortense Anda Advancement Prize and the Hungarian Special Prize for Performance.

Mihaly Berecz Mihály is the winner of the Liszt-Bartók Prize at the 15th Géza Anda Competition in 2021 and the winner of the Kissinger Piano Olympics in 2024. Born in Budapest in 1997, he studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Christopher Elton. As the winner of the "Debut Berlin" International Concert Competition, Mihály made his debut at the Berlin Philharmonie in 2017. More recently, he has also performed in a duo with Elisabeth Leonskaja. His interest in historical performance practice has led to invitations to perform fortepiano concertos with renowned period-instrument orchestras such as the Orfeo Orchestra. He is also a regular guest with Concerto Budapest under András Keller.
