A lively inheritance comedy with surprising twists by Selma Mahlknecht

Indoors or outdoors? The clouds hang low over the von Lilienhain family estate. Of all days, it has to be today, the day of patriarch Hans-Hermann's birthday celebration! Daughter Anne-Louise has spared no expense to organize the perfect party. For the first time in ages, all the siblings are to be together: the successful businessman Ernst-Eugen from America, the energetic artist Django, and the divorced Lola, the black sheep of the family. Everyone is putting on their best face for their father, hoping to score points in the race for a castle in France to inherit the family estate.

While tables and chairs for the party are carried from outside to inside and back again, a story full of little lies, big secrets and astonishing twists unfolds on stage – and patriarch Hans-Hermann also has a big surprise in store!

Director Selma Mahlknecht wrote the lively comedy "The Garden Party" specifically for the fourteen actors of the Dramatic Society.

On stage are Vitalina Botter, Claudia Ennemoser, Marilyn Giacometti, Angelika Kaserer, Rudolf Maag, Gioia Müller, Patrizia Müller, Roman Nendza, Lidia Poltera, Corinna Ravo, Christian Schmid, Claudia Schmid, Simon Schwarz and Franco Tramèr.
