Martha Argerich and Mischa Maisky are living legends. For 50 years now, they have been considered a dream duo, united by an extraordinary artistic friendship. "Music begins where words end, and we try to communicate with each other through music," says Mischa Maisky. The artistic power and depth of expression of the two sometimes develop into a veritable musical tsunami that also sweeps the audience to the highest levels of emotion.

For Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals," they gather a young chamber ensemble. Their partner on second piano is Israeli pianist Iddo Bar-Shai; Martha Argerich's daughter Annie Dutoit serves as narrator. An extraordinary concert to celebrate the golden jubilee of two musicians of the century!
