The trio project of the Zurich pianist and singer Ursula Bachmann with the virtuoso Zurich tenor saxophonist Tobias Pfister and the up-and-coming British drummer Phelan Burgoyne presents an exciting cast with piano, voice, tenor saxophone and drums. They combine song and improvisation in a unique way. The bandleader's compositions are full of refined poetry, nuanced harmonies and have an impressionistic character.
