This is how Werner Richard Heymann, the most famous film composer of the 1930s (film music for: "The 3 from the gas station", "The Congress is dancing", "Ein blond dream"), presented to his German audience in the 1950s after he had to emigrate from Nazi Germany in 1933.
Annette Postel guides you through Heymann's life, songs and hits. She is accompanied by Sebastian Matz on the piano: "Darling, my heart sends my regards!", "A friend, a good friend", "Somewhere in the world there is a little bit of happiness".
