Course leader: Martina Joos
The focus of this course is on the stylistically correct interpretation of consort literature from the 16th and early 17th centuries from Italy, Spain and England in three to twelve-part, or multi-choir ensembles. In addition, the basics of playing together are worked on, such as intonation, ensemble sound, phrasing, articulation, dynamics, etc. The sheet music will be sent out before the course begins for preparation. There will be a final concert at the end of the week.

target group
The course is aimed at advanced amateurs and music teachers with ensemble experience who would like to learn the basics of ensemble playing and the details of the literature. It is aimed at existing ensembles or individual players who will be put together by the course leader to form balanced ensembles. Listeners are welcome. Please state the instruments you have when registering.
