Event details
dissolute songs, chansonesque bohemian trash
Was everything better before? Maybe the art of poetry, maybe the humorous and self-deprecating approach to the tragicomedies of humanity that are repeated over and over again.
La Pomme Pourrie collect pearls from the past, compose appropriate counterparts and thus create a deeply honest and haunting evening. With their performance, they tell stories that life writes, with all its bizarre, funny, absurd and tragic facets, and thus take the listener into unheard of worlds. They provoke tears of laughter that immediately get stuck in your throat.
Silvana Schmid, Ulrich Pletscher and Ambrosius Huber play enchanting and timeless chansons. Dreamy spaces flashed into view, violent songs with biting lyrics took you into the depths of humanity. Poems by Charles Baudelaire and Jacques Prévert, among others, will be set to music, as well as pieces by Friedrich Holländer, the Tiger Lillies and Georg Kreisler will be reinterpreted.
