A strict judge, two mediocre lawyers and three broken-up siblings are to share the inheritance of a deceased. Not only are different interpretations of the will negotiated, the sense and nonsense of the heir discussed and family feuds settled, but witnesses are also heard: friendly police officers, a very friendly nurse and a thirsty doctor. The lawyers involved conduct the negotiations with great care and professional distance until they too reach their limits and the siblings fall into an emotional frenzy that has absolutely no place in a civil trial, which also applies to the deceased.
