Diane Conrad-Daubrah, who was born in England, came to St. Moritz in 1970 as private secretary for the shipowner, investor and hotel owner Stavros Niarchos, married a local and stayed. At the age of 40 she trained as an English teacher and taught in Samedan for many years. She has been involved in organizing Cricket on Ice for 30 years. In addition, Diane Conrad-Daubrah is a passionate "hobby historian" and deals intensively with the history of English church buildings in the Engadin.
