The new composition "ALFONSINA" is a tango opera in three acts by Francisco Obieta and is based on the texts - poetry and prose - by Alfonsina Storni.
In these three acts of the work, the key moments of the well-known poet with Swiss roots are shown. The dramatic experiences in her life create an emotional dismay. The chamber opera ALFONSINA sheds light on the circumstances in which she was involved and at times trapped and reveals their deeper aspects.
The language of the opera is in German, with individual sequences in Spanish.
