In addition to various smaller ensembles from individual hotels, there are still two spa orchestras in the Engadin that perform regularly in summer: the Salonorchester St. Moritz and the Camerata Pontresina. This is a rarity for the entire European Alpine region and a unique selling point. Reason enough to devote an international conference and an exhibition to the hitherto hardly researched history of the salon orchestras in the Engadin and in the wider Alps - a program full of music!
