Born in Lyon, the pianist enchants audiences around the world with his playing as a soloist and chamber musician. He has received several awards such as the Maurice d'Espine Prize in 2013, the Chaponnière Prize in 2014 and the Karol Pajonk Prize in 2015. Together with Alcafardo he founded the Werther Trio Barreira and with the first cellist of the Orchester de la Suisse Romande, François Guye, he performs regularly. Maxime Albert calls the stage his «home». He has also been teaching at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève since 2015.

He is Artist in Residence at the Laudinella and presents works by Schubert, Listz, Martin, Rachmaninov and Chopin.
