100 Years of Miles Davis

Henning Mankell's touching story is a tribute to the jazz genius Miles Davis, a man who suffered from loneliness and prejudice. Through the character of the scrap dealer, Daniel Rohr tells of the beauty of Juliette Gréco, of Swiss watches, of favorite chords, and of the loss of a loved one. The text not only sheds new light on a great musician, it also opens the heart. At its core is the friendship between the ordinary man and the great musical genius. The musical motif is "Sketches of Spain," performed by the Zurich Jazz Orchestra.
