Our commitment to a sustainable future
We believe that sustainable practices not only benefit the environment but also ensure the long-term success of our company.
What we do
«Sustainability succeeds when we live it together.»
Environmentally conscious practices are evident in every detail of our business, from CO₂-neutral heating and smart food waste solutions to our focus on local raw materials. We continuously measure, plan, and act to protect the environment while ensuring the long-term quality of our hotels and restaurants for guests and employees.

We are Swisstainable
The Swiss sustainability program unites businesses and organizations across the entire tourism sector. By participating, we commit to continuous sustainable business development, pursue sustainability measures, and thus make a concrete contribution to sustainable Swiss tourism.
At the Reine Victoria, Laudinella and Corvatsch hotels, we implement a variety of measures to achieve this. These include waste separation, LED lighting, the targeted purchase of regional products, and training for employees on efficient ventilation and sustainable work practices.

Heating with cold seawater
Our houses are heated in a CO₂-neutral manner. A heat pump extracts energy from the cold water of Lake St. Moritz, raising the temperature of the supply network to around 70°C. The water, cooled to 1°C, then flows back into the lake. The ecosystem remains completely intact.
Waves
In partnership with the Graubünden Water Association, we are committed to making water a tangible, vital resource – for locals and guests alike.
The result: projects focusing on education, sustainability, art, and culture in the Alps. The aim is to promote environmental awareness and support regional economic development.

Further commitment
In addition to our core projects, we also rely on regional materials and clever solutions.
Wood from sustainable sources
For the construction of our new serviced apartments, we rely on local, renewable raw materials. For example, over 1,000 trees come from within a radius of 100 kilometers. The advantage: short transport routes and a high-quality, alpine interior made of fragrant Swiss pine.
From a reliable source
Delicious mountain spring water flows from our taps! It's sourced from springs in Suvretta, Alp Giop, Alp Nova, Chantarella, and Blais Glischa. Using a BWT water softening system, we treat the water to a great taste, eliminating the need for transporting and storing single-use bottles.
