We serve every dish with a very special ingredient: the view of the picturesque natural surroundings with evergreen Swiss stone pines, the shimmering lake, and majestic mountains. Regionally rooted, internationally inspired: Enjoy our seasonal specialties on the sun terrace or in the cozy, rustic ambiance of the Art Nouveau chalet. 

Welcome to the nature reserve

The winding path to Lake Staz leads through an idyllic, almost untouched landscape. In summer, you can walk or cycle past blooming meadows and babbling brooks. Once you arrive, a holiday atmosphere awaits: beach chairs, refreshing cocktails, and wooden jetties for a dip in the cool water. 

Even in winter, a trip through the fairytale-like, snow-covered Swiss stone pine forests is worthwhile. With a little luck, the lake freezes over – then it's time for ice skating on crystal-clear black ice. 

To warm up, hot drinks, blankets and steaming food are available for you in our cozy restaurant as well as outside at the kiosk.

Overnight stay at Lej da Staz?

Like a secret retreat in the Alps, this small hotel sits on the shores of Lake Staz, nestled within a nature reserve. The rooms of the Art Nouveau chalet are rustically furnished, exuding warmth and a nostalgic sense of comfort. Enjoy the tranquility – for example, on a family vacation, a yoga retreat, or a customized group trip. 

SUNDAY BRUNCH & OKTOBERFEST

On September 22, 2024, you will enjoy our extensive brunch buffet for the last time (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.). On the same weekend, from Friday to Sunday (11 a.m. - 8 p.m.), we will celebrate Oktoberfest with live music, Augustiner beer and various Bavarian delicacies.
