Vivi de Farias' jazz concerts during the Christmas season have long since become a firm tradition. This year, the exceptional musician will once again be creating a festive atmosphere every day with her atmospheric aperitif concerts at Vic's Bar. She will be accompanied by a first-class band with whom she has already toured worldwide.

The audience can look forward to a diverse program: fiery samba, virtuoso improvisations, and sensual soundscapes alternate daily. Naturally, the "ambassador of bossa nova," as Vivi de Farias is often called, also brings her own compositions to the stage.

Born and raised in Brazil and the USA, the artist received her training in Rio de Janeiro and Chicago – focusing on acting and singing – and later received a scholarship at the Karlsruhe University of Music. Today, she lives in Germany and combines influences from jazz, classical, and samba in her music. She is also active in interdisciplinary art projects, playfully crossing stylistic boundaries – from baroque and opera to experimental sounds. Yet one thing always remains at the heart of her work: her passion for jazz.
