Velvety vocal jazz – Solothurn-based jazz singer Salome Moana presents standards from the Great American Songbook in a new guise, together with singer and pianist Raphael Jost, double bassist Tommy Fuller, and drummer Marton Juhasz. The four musicians move between traditional and modern, between swing and bossa nova, between lyrical ballads and driving scat. Sensitively arranged, the songs offer plenty of scope for improvisation and passionate interpretation.
