The Basel-based Argentinian singer and composer Luciana Morelli and the renowned Argentinian pianist and composer Marina Ruiz Matta present their compositions together, accompanied by the Swiss clarinettist Philipp Hillebrand.
The repertoire includes music from Morelli’s latest album, “Words of the Wind,” featuring poems by poets such as Emily Brontë, Robin Myers, and Alejandra Pizarnik, as well as instrumental music by Matta.
With influences from Argentinian music, jazz, folk, and classical, the imaginative arrangements guide the listener through a carefully curated universe of raw instrumental and vocal textures with Morelli's expressive voice. Each piece combines storytelling, rich harmonies, and a distinctive palette of musical colors to paint a broad and dynamic picture of the human experience.
