The focus of this course is on the appropriate interpretation of consort literature from the 16th and early 17th centuries from England and Italy in three to twelve-part, also multi-choir ensembles. In addition, the basics of interplay such as intonation, phrasing, dynamics, articulation, ensemble sound, etc. are worked on. Short presentations illuminate the historical background. The grades will be sent to you in preparation for the course before the start of the course. At the end of the week there will be a final concert.<\/p>\n

target group
\n<\/strong>The course is aimed at music teachers and advanced amateurs with ensemble experience, including Golden Agers, who would like to deal with the basics of ensemble playing and the details of the literature. Existing ensembles or individual players are addressed, who are put together by the course management to form balanced ensembles. Listeners are welcome. Please indicate available instruments when registering.<\/p>\n
