In the Advent quiet of the Engadin, this traditional week offers the opportunity to get in the mood for Christmas with music in a stimulating community of like-minded people.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the rich treasure of Advent and Christmas choral music, a few pearls will be rehearsed during the choral week and performed at the final concert. Regular choral voice training works on personal voice skills as well as on a balanced choral sound. Anyone who plays an instrument also meets for joint music lessons, where ensemble music is cultivated and parts in the orchestra are prepared. The extended lunch break offers the opportunity for walks and excursions. Chamber music can also be cultivated individually during this time. For the voluntary evening programs, contributions of all kinds from the group of participants are very welcome and enrich the choir week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enthusiastic singers with or without choir experience, instruments will be used appropriately if you notify us early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course leader<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hermann Stamm<\/strong>, the musical director of the choir week, is a retired primary school teacher and principal. He conducted various church choirs for over 30 years, sings in several choirs himself, is an organist and pianist and worked for many years in church choir associations, most recently for ten years as President of the Swiss Church Choral Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
