Ski & Snowboard

With more than 350 kilometres of slopes and altogether 88 ski slopes, Engadin is a true dream for ski and snowboard fans. With 1’800m above sea level, snow-covered slopes are guaranteed and your ski holidays safe. From gentle children’s slopes, family slopes to impressive world cup slopes and soft of Powder runs to pictorial ski routes – the Engadin has something to offer for everyone. Enjoyable relaxation and cosy warmth are waiting for you after an exhausting day on the slopes at one of the numerous mountain restaurants.

You can reach the ski resort Corviglia/Piz Nair on the house mountain of St. Moritz quickly with the cable car, which is only one stone throw away from the entrance of the Laudinella.

Other skiing resorts, such as Corvatsch and Diavolezza/Lagalb, are equally easy to reach from the Engadinbus. No matter, which one of the numerous slopes you pick, the breathtaking view of the Engadine mountain landscape will amaze you. Freeskiers and snowboarders will find the ultimate kick at the Corviglia snow park “Crowland” or the Corvatsch Park on the mountain of the same name.

Our tip: rise early – it’s worthwhile! Drawing the first lines in a freshly prepared carpet of snow in the morning at sunrise on the mountain before the masses is probably the ultimate form of happiness for every winter sports fan.

Cross-country skiing

Whether classically or skating – the Engadin is an unequalled cross-country skiing paradise.

230 kilometres of first-class cross-country skiing trails branch out through the entire high valley: across frozen lakes and snow-covered meadows, through winter forests and peaceful side valleys – and directly past our doorstep.

Strap on skis and start gliding, directly in front of the hotel – right through the middle of the probably most impressive cross-country scenery one can wish for.

From Maloja to the Bernina Pass, where the restless can draw their tracks into the glacier snow until spring. And those who need longer days can continue the training on the night track in St. Moritz in the glare of the spotlights until late in the evening.

Unique landscape diversity, outstanding quality of tracks, unequalled snow safety. No wonder that thousands of participants travel to the largest cross-country skiing event of Switzerland, the world-famous Engadin Skimarathon.

Several cross-country ski schools offer instruction for beginners and advanced skiers. Suitable equipment can be rented at various locations
