The woman's friend, her sister, a policeman and seven other people close or far away from her get out of step. They fall out of the routines of their everyday life, lose their footing - or plunge into a freedom that is no longer thought possible. Simone Lappert, born 1985 in Aarau, Switzerland, studied at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel. With her debut novel ›Wurfschatten‹ she was on the shortlist for the ›aspekte‹ award. She is President of the Basel International Poetry Festival and Swiss curator for the poetry project ›Babelsprech.International‹. In 2019 the novel ›Der Sprung‹, which was nominated for the Swiss Book Prize, was published.
